Bromley Simpson - Our history
Bromley Simpson Glass Service began its journey in Darlinghurst, Sydney, in 1914, under the name Bromley Simpson & Co. Pty Ltd. As one of Sydney’s earliest glass firms, we earned a reputation for precision, craftsmanship, and integrity in an era when glasswork was both a technical and artistic endeavour.
Over the decades, the company secured commissions for many notable projects around Sydney, documented in contemporary newspapers and architectural journals. We also imported specialty glass and components from overseas, maintaining rigorous standards for quality and innovation.
In 1988, the company changed ownership and was relaunched as Bromley Simpson Glass Service, retaining its dedication to excellence and serving the Sydney area exclusively. Today, we carry forward more than a century of tradition, applying that legacy to modern glasswork across Sydney.

Over the decades, Bromley Simpson Glass Service has been a key player in Sydney’s architectural landscape. For instance, in the late 1950s, we completed the glazing for the Narrabeen High School, a testament to our commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

Bromley Simpson’s early work also included projects from the 1920s. For example, a 1926 newspaper article documents an undertaking carried out by Bromley Simpson & Co., further illustrating our longstanding presence in Sydney’s building history.
